Stinningskaldi – A steady breeze, strong enough to ruffle clothes but not uncomfortable. Logn – Complete calm with no wind at all. Skafrenningur – Wind that blows snow, creating drifting or whirling snowstorms. Snælduvitlaust Rok – A colloquial term for "crazy" or extremely strong winds. Suddi – A drizzle combined with light wind. Hlýr Rok – A warm gale, often unusual in the Icelandic climate.
