🚂 The Sugar Train – The St Kitts Scenic Railway isn’t just a ride, it’s a journey through history. Built between 1912 and 1926 to transport sugar cane from plantations to the factory in Basseterre, it’s now the last remaining railway in the Caribbean.
The 18-mile narrow-gauge track winds along the island’s northeast coast, offering sweeping views of sugar estates, rainforest-clad mountains, tiny villages, and the turquoise Caribbean Sea.
